Hi, I’m Darshana, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Ontario. As a second generation Indian-Canadian, I understand the unique challenges that individuals can experience taking up space in an environment that may not feel comfortable to them.
My aim at Clear Moon Therapy is to provide a space for my clients to come to, authentically as they are. A space where their emotions are welcomed and they are not told to be quiet, or to stop crying. I value collaboration in my sessions and truly believe that each of my clients have the capacity for growth and change.

The moon for me has always represented safety and a sense of belonging. At various moments of my life when I was feeling alone or uncertain, I would look up at the sky and see the moon there, unchanged, unhinged by whatever else was going on in my life. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone. The same moon I saw at night where I was, is the same moon my family and friends saw where they were. Even though they might not be with me physically, we were connected through this. The moon has always symbolized grounding for me, and I hope to share some of that grounding with you here at Clear Moon Therapy.
